We are approx 5% up on local memberships, but we still have few turn up for meetings. £300 donation shows a very high return give the number of members in the catchment. Trike helmet law in NI has gone quiet, but may come back. Southern Region is not overtly political, but overall MAG is stronger on this front. MCIA acknowledging MAG as we are helping to promote their trade. Toxicity charge introduced in london this week. ULEZ also coming, and also will affect locally with Southampton, although TfL figures show bikes as contributing 0%. Silvertown tunnel looks set to charge bikes as well. Demo in London next April. AGC - Leon notified he is standing down due to health. His position will be advertised, and his shoes will be hard to fill. They will pare down the role so they can recruit an ordinary member as an enthusiastic amateur. Thefts is a real problem. Tony Cox attended a police conference. Bikes are being stolen to order, and for use in committing other crimes. Police asking for suggestions as to what they can do. MAG has formed an anti-theft group. MAG is not condoning any vigilantism. Need more action against Silvertown charging, as this may ripple down to other crossings. Mag fairly healthy at moment - Can survive 6 months with no more income. FEMA role questioned re leaving with Brexit, but no change expected. FEMA healthy with 12 months funding.
